Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia announced today that it will release the first console video game for Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Nintendo Switch™, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Steam🄬. The second character trailer was also released yesterday. The second-year students Maki, Panda, and Inumaki from the Tokyo School of Jujutsu High will be participating in the game and this is the first time that their battle footage has been released.
Playable Character Descriptions
Maki Zen’in
A speedy Combo Master who uses her “Physical Strength" in place of Cursed Energy and has nimble movements on top of impressive combo strings.
Her Passive Skill: Strike Gauge increases the speed of movement and other functions as the player continues to attack. In addition to avoiding enemy attacks, the player can also cancel one’s own attacks!
Toge Inumaki
A special Striker who mixes light martial arts with powerful Cursed Speech to toy with foes.
Cursed Speech attacks are powerful, but use them too much and you'll be the one taking damage. If your throat condition worsens, you can recover with a drink of cough syrup.
The amount of Throat Gauge consumed through Cursed Speech differs depending on the gap in level between you and the enemy. Watch your foe and unleash a devastating counterattack when the time is right!
Keep a close eye on your Cursed Energy Level gap before making your moves!
Panda
With this dual-form, close-range Fighter, you can float like a panda and sting like a...gorilla?
The character fights by switching between panda and gorilla states.
In Gorilla Mode, you are always in an enhanced state and move faster. As the name implies, damage from Unblockable Drumming Beat is anything but blockable!
Pour on the pain, even against guarding enemies!
The first character trailer is also available now, including battle footage of Itadori, Fushiguro, Kugisaki, Gojo and Sukuna.
Currently, the first character PV is also available on the official website and YouTube. The first-year students of Jujutsu High – Itadori, Fushiguro and Kugisaki, as well as the strongest Special Grade Jujutsu Sorcerer, Gojo Satoru, and the King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna, are introduced in the trailer. Jujutsu Kaisen, serialised in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump with great reviews, is being developed into a home video game for the first time!
Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash is a 2 vs. 2 action game in which you and your partner aim for the heights by mastering the "Cursed Technique" of Jujutsu Sorcerer and Cursed Spirits. Make the most out of the unique cursed technique that each character possesses and fight together to become stronger in battle.
