Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia is pleased to announce that DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT is now available on the PlayStation®5. The popular game, which has already been released on the PlayStation®4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch™, will also be available on Xbox Series X|S tomorrow, 13 January 2023.

Additionally, a brand-new paid DLC, “-BARDOCK- Alone Against Fate”, can be played on all platforms today, except for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and STEAM®. The DLC will only be available on the latter platforms tomorrow, 13 January 2023.

DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT, an Action RPG Providing the Ultimate Goku Experience, Available on the PlayStation®5 Now The PlayStation®5version of the best-selling title, DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT, allows players to experience the DRAGON BALL Z world as seen through the eyes of Goku. The title will be available in both package and digital download editions.

The game features scenes from the original anime, which have never been recreated in a DRAGON BALL game and are depicted through sumptuous anime-style graphics powered by the latest technology. Such elements aim to provide players with an unforgettable experience.

The game also comes complete with content released as DLCs on other platforms – notably, “A New Power Awakens Parts 1 and 2”, and “-TRUNKS - The Warrior of Hope” – which enable players to enjoy more DRAGON BALL Z content than ever before.

Upgraded console versions are also available for players who already own the title on the PlayStation®4 or Xbox One. The game provides an opportunity for both players who have already seen what DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT has to offer, as well as new players, to experience a visually stunning DRAGON BALL game at its highest performance level.

Goku’s father, Bardock, finds himself working as part of Frieza’s planetary invasion forces. During one particular battle, he takes damage from an unknown opponent, and is thereby granted the ability of precognitive foresight. He comes to see that Frieza intends to eliminate all Saiyans from the universe. Although he has lost his allies and has sustained terrible physical and emotional wounds, Bardock continues to fight against Frieza nonetheless – in an attempt to escape his accursed fate.

In this DLC, players will play as Bardock and can experience his story from his own point of view. Season Pass 2, which includes this newly added DLC content, is also available for download from today. For further announcements on future story additions, please stay tuned for updates.
