Arc System Works Co., Ltd. is excited to announce the new playable character, A.B.A’s upcoming release for Guilty Gear -Strive- — the highly acclaimed 2.5D fighting game available on PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Steam®, Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Windows.

A.B.A can enter her powerful Jealous Rage state by meeting certain conditions. She gains greatly improved movement during her Jealous Rage state, with different properties for most of her normal, special, and Overdrive moves.

The DLC character, A.B.A, goes on sale starting March 26, and will be available at the same time for owners of Guilty Gear -Strive- Season Pass 3.

A homunculus born in a laboratory called Flask. She’s given the name “Paracelsus” to an axe closely resembling a key and treats him as her husband.

Due to her solitary upbringing in the laboratory, she is extremely shy around new people. She is still emotionally immature and shows a deeply jealous and possessive side when it comes to Paracelsus.

She may come off as belligerent, but this is only to cover for her timidity. She maintains a base level of consideration and sympathy for others.

She first sets out on a journey to find a human body for her spouse, Paracelsus. Now, concerned about the recent changes to his appearance, she is investigating the cause of his transformation.

In actuality, he is a magical battle axe named Flament Nagel. His brainwashing has led many warriors to their deaths on the battlefield during the Crusades. His thirst for violence would drive his wielder to fight until their bloody end, with no distinction between friend or foe.

After the Crusades, he encounters A.B.A and accompanies her despite a seeming distaste for her constant advances. Throughout their time together, he has begun to change shape from an axe into a key. A.B.A has yet to notice the change in heart he’s experienced along with this transformation.

While he’s grown accustomed to life outside of the battlefield, oddly enough, he sometimes finds himself losing hold of his shape...?

The new battle stage, “Fallen Prayer, Engulfed Lives”, features the clear blue sea and an eye-catching monument. While the coral reef overgrowth has transformed the city into a tourist spot, it’s now inhabitable for residents.

The March 26 update will add Artemis, a new special move for Millia Rage. Artemis allows Millia to attack while leaping up at an angle behind her. As she leaps, she can evade low-hitting attacks or even pass through to the other side of the opponent. This creates another option for Millia’s offensive game to mix up a blocking opponent.

Guilty Gear -Strive-‘s Season Pass 3 contains Johnny, Elphelt Valentine, A.B.A and one upcoming playable character, two upcoming additional battle stages (“Fallen Prayer, Engulfed Lives” and one upcoming battle stage), the Season 3 Character Color Pack as well as the Season Pass 3 Exclusive Bonus: Season 3 Character Additional Colors #13 to #15.
