Bandai Namco Holdings Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President & Representative Director: Masaru Kawaguchi) held an opening ceremony for the GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION, one of the pavilions of the Private Sector for the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, and unveiled the interior of the pavilion to members of the press. The original footage and pavilion space will provide a powerful immersive experience of the new possibilities for the future that are depicted in the GUNDAM series through the concepts of "life in space" and "technologies not yet realized". A 17-meter-tall life-sized GUNDAM statue will greet visitors with one hand outstretched towards outer space and the future.
Under Bandai Namco Groupʼs Purpose "Fun for All into the Future", the GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION will connect people across the globe through GUNDAM and aim to provide the opportunity to think about the "future".

The Mobile Suit Gundam series has depicted Universal Century through various works for over 45 years, and its history will be traced with images and music. Rich musical expression from the Osaka Symphony Orchestra and diverse performances by Takanori Nishikawa and other guests will guide the audience into the New Universal Century. “GUNDAM CINEMA in NAMBA PARKS CINEMA” will be held
To celebrate the opening of Gundam Pavilion, Namba Parks Cinema will screen various Gundam series theatrical films! Films will be screened with Japanese audio and English subtitles. Further details will be announced on GUNDAM INFO and various channels.
Pavilion Overview
The GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION will portray the new possibilities for the future that are depicted in the GUNDAM series through the concepts of "life in space" and "technologies not yet realized" with the realistic original film GUNDAM: Next Universal Century and phases 0 to 7 of the pavilion space. Participants will enjoy the experience of traveling from "Yumeshima Terminal" located at Yumeshima, Osaka to "Star Jaburo" station via an orbital elevator under the setting of the new "Universal Century".
Appearing in this exciting visual world where humanity and mobile suits coexist are various mobile suits, including GUNDAM equipped with the “Glass Feather” on its back, and Haros with new designs. The 17-meter-tall life-sized GUNDAM statue exhibited outside is also a must-see attraction.
