Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia and Arc System Works Co., Ltd. are excited to announce Open Beta Test #2 for the new online versus mode – TEAM OF 3 for Guilty Gear -Strive-. The Open Beta Test #2 will begin from 8 November, 10:00 SGT to 11 November, 15:00 SGT * on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC via Steam®, and Windows.

TEAM OF 3 Open Beta Test #2 Starts Today!
Open Beta Test #2 for the new online versus mode TEAM OF 3 has begun!
This test includes new features such as Player Match mode and Skill Customization available for the first time, so be sure to check it out!
Player Match Mode
Create a room of up to 9 players to join and spectate 3-on-3 TEAM OF 3 mode matches, with new options such as 3-on-1 or 2-on-2 style battles.
Skill Customization Mode
Customize the Skills and Stats used when playing the Assist role in TEAM OF 3.
Mix and match the 5 Roles and 32 Skills to find the best combination for your personal play style.
Each role has a default pre-set available.
Sparring Mode
Take control of your character in practice matches.
Test out Skills and Break-ins.
From the Pause Menu in Sparring mode, you can change your Skill Customization choices as well.
TEAM OF 3 Open Beta Test #2 Overview
Schedule: Friday, 8 November 2024, 10:00 SGT – Monday, 11 November 2024, 15:00 SGT**
Playable Characters: All 29 characters (including all additional DLC characters that are released)
Available Modes:
DOJO – Tutorial Mode
Learn the basics of playing matches.
TEAM OF 3 – Pits teams of 3 players each, against one another.
Players fight in ‘Main’ and ’Assist’ positions. All 3 members of the team share a single health bar, with Main player facing-off opponents, as in a standard match, and Assist players appearing from off-screen to support.
TEAM OF 3 – Tutorial Mode
Learn how to play TEAM OF 3 in this mode.
TEAM OF 3 Mode
New online battle mode where players can compete in 3-on-3 matches.
TEAM OF 3 Player Match Mode
Player can either create their own room and invite friends, or join another player’s room to play matches.
TEAM OF 3 Skill Customization Mode
Customise the set of Skills available in matches.
TEAM OF 3 Sparring Mode
Practice for TEAM OF 3.
Allows players to try out various Skills.
*A PlayStation®Plus subscription is not required for online multiplayer.
*An Xbox Live Gold subscription is not required for online multiplayer.
*Downloading the application and accessing online multiplayer is free of charge, however charges for the required network connection must be covered by the customer.
*Player ratings from the prior beta test do not carry over.
*This beta test will be conducted using a different application from the full Guilty Gear -Strive- game, so please download the “Guilty Gear -Strive- Team of 3 Open beta” application from the store of each platform.
*On Steam, you can join the test via the “Access Request” option under “Join Guilty Gear -Strive- Playtest” from the Guilty Gear -Strive- store page.
