Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia today announced the launch of PAC-MAN™ Mega Tunnel Battle™ Chomp Champs, a fast-paced and furious take on PAC-MAN multiplayer, featuring cross-play on consoles and PC for 64-player battles across a variety of colorful interconnected mazes. The game is available now in Standard and Deluxe editions on Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam®.

In PAC-MAN Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs, everything except the maze is edible. Players chomp their way through pellets, power-ups, GHOSTS, and even other PACs across multiple interconnected mazes to become the Chomp Champ – a.k.a. the last PAC standing at the end of each match. This title is the first multiplayer PAC-MAN game that is cross platform and features a Friend system that lets up to four players join the same match, track each other’s progress, and spectate their friends’ game play. Game modes include Elimination Mode, featuring arcade-style action where players of any rank can compete and earn Tokens to redeem customisation items, and Ranked Mode, where players are paired with similarly skilled opponents from around the world and compete for their place on regional and global leaderboards.

In a game where players’ PACs can chomp other PACs, it’s only natural that almost anything goes. PAC-MAN Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs features a variety of Power Items that not only boost players’ abilities but can also enlist the GHOSTS as allies of convenience. Players can gain power ups such as enhanced speed, shields, and more to help their PACs or help the GHOSTS chase down the competition. While game skills are the best way to stand out in a field of 64 players, the many customisation options in the game lets players make their PAC their own, competing in a whole other field – style bragging rights. PACs in the game are customisable with a variety of body, head, and face cosmetics, opening the way for some of the most inventive and colorful variations on the good ol’ yellow fella yet.
