Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia would like to announce that due to a technical issue, the digital version of DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT on Xbox Series X|S, which was scheduled for release last Friday, 13 January 2023, has been postponed.

In addition, the Xbox One version of the new DLC "-BARDOCK- Alone Against Fate" and "Season Pass 2", which were scheduled to be released at the same time last Friday, will also be postponed, due to this issue.

As a result of unintended behavior, customers who have the Xbox One version of DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT on their Xbox Series X|S consoles are experiencing an issue where the Xbox Series X|S version of DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT is automatically downloaded, and the game cannot progress.

Due to this reason, the release of the Xbox One version of the new DLC "-BARDOCK- Alone Against Fate" and "Season Pass 2", which were scheduled to be released at the same time last Friday, has been postponed.

This issue only occurs for customers who are playing the Xbox One version of DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT on an Xbox Series X|S console and does not occur for those who are playing the game using an Xbox One console. We have also confirmed that the saved data made on the Xbox One version of DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT will not be affected or deleted.

We are currently investigating the detailed cause of the issue and possible countermeasures, but until we make further confirmation on this matter, we ask our customers to refrain from playing the game until the problem is resolved. An announcement will be made as soon as the situation is confirmed.

DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROTfor PlayStation®5 and PlayStation®4 can still be played. The new DLC "-BARDOCK- Alone Against Fate" and "Season Pass 2”, which was scheduled for distribution on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Nintendo Switch™, and PC via STEAM® on January 13, 2023, is available as expected.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. The updated release timing for the game on Xbox Series X|S has yet to be determined, and we will follow up with details as soon as possible.
