Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia is pleased to announce the release of the Nintendo Switch™ title, Ace Angler: Fishing Spirits, today. Along with this announcement, a launch trailer has also been unveiled.
Ace Angler: Fishing Spirits Has Launched Today
This title, set in an aquarium-themed amusement park, represents a sequel to the global hit, Ace Angler, which was released in 2019 and had sold over 800,00 copies worldwide.
Apart from being able to play the famous Ace Angler arcade game in the comfort of your homes in Medal Mode, the title also includes a wide array of other fun features. Follow the quest to clean the world’s oceans for a sustainable future in Story Mode, play aquatic-themed medal pusher games, enjoy multiplayer games like Gator Panic and Goldfish Scooping in Party Mode, and even wage online battles for the first time in the series!
Collect Medals in each of these games and aim to complete your aquarium by gathering over 250 types of fish that are available in the title.
An all-new launch trailer has also been released today, featuring all the fun attractions available, as well as new features such as the changing of the character’s clothes and the growing of the aquarium. Check it out now!

This attraction is a medal pusher game, where players' ultimate goal is to scoop a huge haul by catching a great white shark! Knock down 5 balls to trigger a Shark Battle and land the shark to scoop a huge haul of Medals.
View All the Creatures of Ace Angler in your Very Own Aquarium
The aquarium, which can be expanded with the medals collected from attractions, features a great white shark, a live giant squid and other giant creatures that cannot be found in an actual aquarium. More than 250 species of creatures can be seen in the aquarium. Visitors can also use the fish observation camera to check information on the fish and watch them swim.
Transfer Over Save Data from the Previous Game, the Nintendo Switch™ Version of Ace Angler, to this New Game
The latest version of the game allows players to transfer over their save data from the previous game, the Nintendo Switch™ version of Ace Angler. Players are able to continue their progress from the previous medal mode, allowing them to immediately enjoy the new elements of the game.

What is Ace Angler?
Ace Angler is a popular fishing simulation game available in arcades all over the globe, where players are to use their rod controllers to catch the fish swimming on the giant monitor in front of them. The game features a wide array of fish species, including adorable clownfish, box fish, mighty anglerfish, great white sharks, and giant squid.
The game also allows players to spend Medals to choose a rod. Players can win more Medals by catching fish – the bigger the catch, the more Medals they would be able to win. Its simple and elegant game design, together with its accessible and intuitive controls, have made it a smash arcade hit for 10 years since its launch.
